I prefer this over the "hit stupid looking planet with idiotic terrain with shitty vehicle" thing by an order of magnitude, but it's still pointless. What is the game? The only challenge is how patient you can be at a completely mindless and repetitive task. Said: " No Way Man! Planet Scanning is lotsa fun and a really nice diversion, just like all the minigames in Mass Effect 2.
